Before we can dispatch your purchases, we may need to confirm your details with your card issuer. We will do our best to keep delays to a minimum.
Our delivery time starts from the moment an order is accepted and includes a 48 hour period where your items will be processed and dispatched by our warehouse. Please note this can take longer during our sale periods when it may take up to 48 hours for shipments to be dispatched.
We work closely with our shipping partner to minimize the potential impact of custom delays on our international customers.
RECEIVING YOUR ORDER
(US Domestic Shipments):
We offer two methods of shipment for orders dispatched via UPS, ground and express.
All packages require a signature to complete delivery. We realize this may be inconvenient but we would like to ensure that your purchases arrive securely. This ensures your purchases are safely delivered to you. If you are unavailable when your package arrives, Fedex/DHL/Aramex will leave a re-delivery slip. Please note, orders containing items of high value may still require a signature, even if you did not select to sign for your order on arrival.
Alternatively, you may prefer to waive the signature requirement and UPS will leave your shipment outside of the premises for your convenience. Please note, that if no signature is collected, you agree to our terms of service and take full responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur.
A signature is required for all international packages delivered by Fedex/DHL/Aramex.
TAXES AND DUTIES
Taxes and Duties: Prices displayed on the website are exclusive of taxes. When you proceed to purchase your order, sales tax and customs duty (where applicable) will be calculated on the total merchandise value and shipping charges, and displayed on the order summary page.
If you are shipping within the USA a flat fee of $12 will be charged, sales tax will be applicable on all orders. No other tax or import duty will be applied to orders shipped within the USA. Please note that all non-customs related local taxes are the customer's responsibility. Bansri Mehta Design is not responsible for reporting or paying additional local taxes to states, such as use tax.
Outside the USA, most destinations are shipped to on a DDP (delivery duty paid) basis, which means that all relevant import taxes and duties will be included in the final purchase price.
If a DDU (delivery duty unpaid) destination is selected (such as Bermuda or Mexico, or any of the destinations listed below), product prices displayed are exclusive of all taxes and duties. A $25 flat fee shipping fee will be charged. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to; payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival.

Returns & Repair

Please note returns can only be exchanged. We will only accept goods that are unworn, undamaged and in the original packaging. Please be aware that we cannot refund import duties or taxes on international deliveries and that bespoke or engraved pieces cannot be refunded.

RETURN SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS
- Please pack each item with adequate padding to prevent additional damages in transit. Bansri Mehta Design will not be held responsible for damages caused by negligence.
- The provided return authorization number must be visibly written or included on each carton and/or carton label.
- Be sure to include at least one copy of the completed and approved returns authorization form inside of each lead carton.

Any return without prior authorization or the provided return authorization number clearly marked on the outside of each package will be refused and returned to the sender.

- Repairs will only be accepted within 90 days of original purchase of full price items
- All repairs are at the discretion of BMD in cases of manufacturer defect

- BMD is not responsible for repairs on items that have excessive wear or do not follow care instructions
- In order to expedite all repair authorizations, we encourage each customer to address repair or replacement inquiries at the original place of purchase
- Stone repairs will be based on stone availability
- Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing and repair
- The customer is required to arrange and pay for shipping charges (roundtrip)
- For international shipping, duties and taxes are sole responsibility of customer
- An assessment will be made with respect to the nature of the damage, if approved:
- Merchandise must be shipped within 5 business days of receipt of Returns Authorization Number
- Tracking number must be provided
- Please allow 2-4 weeks for completion of repair
- It must be noted that not all repairs will be accepted due to the custom nature of each style and limited availability
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability, and items in your shopping basket are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers.
Bansri Mehta Design (BMD) offers products for sale that are in stock and available for dispatch from our distribution center. BMD will store a record of your transactions for a minimum of one year.
ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ORDER
Once you have made your choice and your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. This email is not an acceptance of your order, just a confirmation that we have received it.
Unless you cancel your order, acceptance of your order will be perfected upon completion of the packing of your order. Completion of the contract between you and BMD will be perfected when we dispatch the goods to you at which time you will receive a second email containing you tracking number, and confirming that your order has been dispatched. The sale contract is therefore concluded in the State of New York, and the language of the contract is English.
We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorization for payment, that shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn, or that you do not meet the eligibility criteria set-out within the TOS. Furthermore, we may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any merchandise from the site whether or not that merchandise has been sold, removing, screening or editing any materials or content on the site, refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express credit and debit cards, and any other methods which may be clearly advertised on the site from time to time. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon generation of your order by Bansri Mehta Design. You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours or that you have been specifically authorized by the owner of the credit/debit card to use it. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer.
If the issuer of your credit/debit card refuses to authorize payment to Bansri Mehta Design, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. Occasionally, high demand causes us to run out of certain items. If we don't have an item that you have ordered in stock, we'll notify you by email immediately.
Sometimes, an item is out of stock and not expected to come back in stock, so we must cancel the item. In this case, if you paid with a credit/debit card, we will not charge you for the item or any taxes, shipping or handling charges.
We take reasonable care to make our site secure. All credit/debit card transactions on this site are processed using authorize.net, a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment. We do not store your credit/debit card details on our systems.

Bansri Mehta Design E-Gift Cards are subject to the following Terms and Conditions:
- e-gift cards can be ordered in fixed dollar amounts from $50 to $1000.
- e-gift cards can be sent via email to any individual with a valid email address.
- as with any purchase, you will receive a confirmation email once the e-gift card email is sent to the recipient.
- e-gift card cannot be purchased using another e-gift card.
- no sales tax is charged when purchasing an e-gift card.

Jewellery Care Recommendations
To maintain the original appearance of Bansri Mehta Design products we recommend that you treat each piece with care and follow the below instructions:
Limit exposure to direct heat and sunlight. Keep all jewelry dry and put on after the use of cosmetic and body products. Water, lotion, fragrances, and any other oil or water based products will increase the likeliness of tarnishing.
Avoid wearing your jewelry at the beach, swimming pool, or while exercising or playing sports. Chlorine and related chemicals can severely discolor and damage jewelry as well as loosen stones and settings. Limit contact with rough surfaces and other metals in order to avoid scratching and changes in color.
All Bansri Mehta Design jewelry is made from 925 silver or brass metal and electroplated with genuine Gold, Rhodium, or Rose Gold precious metals. All items are coated with an electro-coating (e-coating) to prevent tarnishing and wear.
NATURAL STONES & PEARLS
Special care should be given to any styles featuring natural stones and pearls. These natural materials are delicate and should be handled with care. Do not drop these materials or expose them to any hot temperatures or harsh chemicals to avoid breakages.
When cleaning, we recommend you use polishing cloths. Such cloths are non-abrasive and will remove debris with little effort.
When not in use, store jewelry in the protective bag and box received with purchase. Because metals and stones get scratched when coming into contact with one another, we recommend that you store each piece of jewelry separately.
Chains should be stored closed and laid flat to avoid the formation of knots.
Please note that Bansri Mehta Design jewelry is made of plated metals and will tarnish over time with much wear. All stones are hand cut and of natural material; slight variations and distinctions are possible.
